With a heavy heart we just learned that one of our very first foster boys passed away tonight. 10 years ago we pulled him from our local shelter. Baby Huey was not just a dog, Baby Huey was a beloved family member. He was one of the best dogs anyone could ever ask for. May he rest in peace. See you on the other side big guy. xoxo
From his wonderful parents Brian & Sue a few years ago.

Hello, My name is Baby Huey. I was adopted over 6 years ago. I was fostered by one of the organizers of Atlantic County Canines. I was found on the streets tick & flee infested. I also had a very bad and rare ear infection. My foster mommy saved me from the shelter when my time was up. She brought me to her house until she invited my mommy and daddy over to meet me. Two days later I STRUCK GOLD!!!!!!! My new mommy and daddy took me home. I have been living as KING of our house ever since. I have had two little brothers, Joe who already went to doggie heaven. My other little brother is Baxter.
My new mommy and daddy made a room for me. A whole room! (not a cage) I love it even though I spend most of my time in a big bed in our (their) bedroom. I have lived a life that every doggie would love. I have had an amazing life for the last six years. I am now a senior doggie and am the luckiest dog ever because I get to live out my golden years living in the lap of luxury.
Thank you for saving me from the shelter when my time was up. I never would have had the amazing life I have had the last six years if it wasn’t for dedicated individuals who devote their lives to helping homeless pets.
